Miroku Falls

Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMug
Since we were already in the area for the Beef and Garlic festival last weekend, we took the opportunity to check out some waterfalls before going home. Pretty, but not a ton of water. It would probably be a more spectacular sight in the spring. (Does the top half of the rock look like George Washington's head to anyone else?)

Great pictures, I was wondering what kind of camera you use!

Thank you! I use a Canon Rebel T1i, and these particular pics were taken with the 24-105mm 4.0L lens.

I am trying to decide what camera I want before Christmas and it seems that the Canon Rebel's are what a lot of people are using. We are moving to Misawa in a few months and I really love to take pictures. Thanks for letting me know!

Yeah, the Rebels are awesome little cameras for getting into photography. If I had to do it over again though I'd save a couple hundred (to put towards a good lens) and get the XSi instead of the T1i (just my 2cents).

Exciting that you're headed to Misawa! Hope you love it here... we sure do! :)

Thank you for sharing the beauty of Japan! You are taking the most amazing pictures! I'm jealous of your fancy camera. I want one. Really bad. Can't wait for your China trip!
